Details

Hot cocoa. Carols. Warm cookies. Twinkling lights. These sights, sounds, and smells can stir up feelings of warmth in us and bring families together. West Jackson Baptist Church is looking forward to providing another unforgettable experience this Christmas!

For three days this December, you can walk through a wonderland of lights, enjoy live entertainment, experience our winter tubing attraction, and more!

Admission

Admission to the Christmas Village is $5 per person (All Ages 2+). This includes access to all attractions, with the exception of food trucks. (Kids under age 2 are welcome but will not need to purchase admission.)

You can reserve your tickets in advance online to be picked up at the gate, or purchase them onsite at the gate.

Ticket sales at the gate will close at 8pm each evening.
Food trucks will be available with additional charges.

Attractions

Gingerbread House Party

Brand new this year at Christmas Village will be our first ever Gingerbread House Party! You’re invited to showcase your creativity, no matter your skill level, by entering the contest. For more information, click here!

Winter Tubing Experience

Introduced in 2022, Christmas Village features a Winter Tubing Experience! Tube down our Mount Everest, or stick to the Bunny Slopes for a milder, more kid-friendly experience. Tubing, along with all attractions (with the exception food trucks), is completely covered by the cost of admission!

Giant Christmas Tree and Christmas Train

The center of the Christmas Village features our 18 foot tall Christmas Tree. Parents and children are invited to ride our Christmas Train that circles the tree!

Nativity Hayride

All guests are invited to ride our hayride, which explores different scenes from the story of the birth of Jesus.

Bethlehem Stable Petting Zoo

Near the center of the village, you can visit our live Bethlehem-themed petting zoo!

Live Entertainment

We will have a short Christmas Play showing every hour!

Christmas Around the World

Just inside the main doors, visit Christmas Around the World! We’ll have interactive activities (including crafts and games!) to help kids learn about and experience Christmas in different countries.

Hot Cocoa and Christmas Cookies

Feeling tired of the cold winter weather? Come inside for a complimentary (included in $5 admission) cup of Hot Cocoa and a Christmas Cookie. You can even sip your cocoa while you watch the Christmas Play!

Kids Village

One section of the village will be filled with kid-friendly activities, a Christmas Playhouse, games, and a snowball fight arena.

Food Trucks

The Christmas Village features several food trucks, where you can purchase a bite to eat!
West Jackson Baptist Church receives no profit from purchases made at Christmas Village Vendors.

Tickets

Q: How much are tickets?
A: Tickets are $5 per person.

Q: How old do I have to be to get in?
A: Anyone under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult.

Q: Do I need to purchase a ticket for my child who is under the age of 2?
A: Children under the age of 2 will be admitted into the village at no charge and do not require a ticket/reservation.

Q: Do I purchase tickets online or at the door?
A: Tickets can be reserved online in advance or purchased at the door. Ticket sales at the gate will close at 8pm each evening.

Q: Do you accept credit/debit cards?
A: Yes, you can use a credit or debit card online or at the door. We will also accept cash at the door.

Q: Do I need my ticket to get into the Christmas Village?
A: When you purchase your ticket at the gate, you will receive a wristband that will be your admission into the village. If you reserved your ticket online, you will need to bring a printed or digital copy of your confirmation email to the designated online pickup stations at the event to receive your wristband.

Q: If I reserved my ticket online, when do I pick it up?
A: You can pick up your wristband at the ticket station anytime the village is open. Please bring your confirmation email, either printed or digitally.

Q: What does my ticket include?
A: Your ticket includes all Christmas Village activities (including a cup of hot cocoa, a cookie, and winter tubing) except for food trucks.

Q: Can I use my pre-purchased ticket on any night?
A: Yes! You can use your ticket any night, no matter what night you selected that you were planning to attend.

Winter Tubing

Q: Is there a separate fee for winter tubing?
A: Nope! Winter tubing and all attractions (apart from food trucks and any other vendors) are included in the cost of admission ($5).

Q: Do I need to bring my own tube or any other equipment?
A: No, we will provide tubes.

Q: Do I need to sign a waiver?
A: We’ll have a short waiver available for you to fill out when you check in at the event. You’ll receive a wristband indicating that you have agreed to participate in the tubing attraction.

Q: Do I need to make a reservation?
A: No, you do not. Winter tubing will be open to all ticket holders for the duration of Christmas Village

Parking
Q: Will parking be free?
A: Yes, parking is free! You can park in the Main or South lot at West Jackson Baptist Church and easily walk to the village.

Q: Where do I enter the parking lot?
A: Two of our main entrances (1 on Oil Well Rd. and 1 on Union University Dr.) will both be open to the public.

Inclement Weather

Q: Will the event be canceled if it rains or snows?
A: Check West Jackson Baptist Church’s Social Media accounts for updates about inclement weather.

Q: What if I purchased my ticket in advance?
A: If the event cannot go on as scheduled, we would love for you to join us on a subsequent day. If you are unable to attend on another night, please contact our church office.

Accessibility

Q: Is the Christmas Village Handicap accessible?
A: Every part of the village is handicap accessible, apart from Winter Tubing and the Hayride.

Dress Code

Q: How should I dress for Christmas Village?
A: Keep an eye on the weather—you may need to dress warmly as most of our activities are outdoors. Festive clothing is encouraged, however character costumes are not permitted.
