WHO WE ARE
Our Values: Why Are We Doing It
- We value life change. We believe in the work of Christ and the power of His Word for Gospel transformation. (2 Corinthians 5:17)
- Life change is demonstrated through people coming to salvation through faith alone by grace alone in Christ alone.
- We value intentional relationships. We believe we are designed for community, and we are better together. (Hebrews 10:24-25)
- Intentional relationships are demonstrated through members of the body of Christ joining together to practice encouragement, accountability, and fellowship.
- We value kingdom advancement. We believe God gives our life purpose – to share hope and give generously. (1 Peter 2:8-9; 2 Corinthians 9:6-7)
- Kingdom advancement is demonstrated by people proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ with their neighbors and the nations and people giving generously of their time, talents, and treasure.
- We value sincere worship. We believe in the importance of gathering corporately and privately to exalt the name of Jesus. (Psalm 95:6-7)
- Sincere worship is demonstrated by members of the body of Christ gathering together to respond to the Lord because of His wondrous works and also by individuals seeking to commune with God privately to grow personally in their relationship with God.
- We value generational growth. We believe that people of all ages have the responsibility to grow in their faith – both personally and by joining together with others in different seasons of life. (Psalm 145:4-7)
- Generational growth is demonstrated by one generation of people faithfully sharing who God is and all He has done to the next generation.

West Jackson ONE25: By our 125th Birthday (2031), our vision is for every ONE of our people to initiate 25 gospel conversations AND to see 25% of our church (250 individuals) equipped and engaged in servant leadership.
