Child Development Center
West Jackson’s CDC provides working parents in our community with a safe and affordable Christian environment for their infant through preschool-aged children.
West Jackson’s Child Development Center is a place where infants, toddlers, preschoolers and their families are surrounded by loving and nurturing caregivers. Our focus is on instilling faith-based principles and providing developmentally appropriate educational activities each day in our five-day, year-round program.
What happens each day at the CDC?
Your child’s day will integrate faith-based Scripture lessons and songs from the Wee Learn curriculum as well as educational lessons from The Creative Curriculum. Breakfast, lunch, and a snack are provided, and kids enjoy plenty of fun activities including indoor play in our Courts facilities, time outside, reading time in our CDC Library, and experiences with technology to enhance their learning.
What are your certifications and what curriculum do you use?
Our curriculum is based on the Tennessee Early Childhood Developmental Standards, which are a precursor to the Common Core standards which are used in Tennessee public schools. We are licensed by the Department of Human Services and participate in the Tennessee Star Quality Program. Our center has received a three-star rating of excellence over the past five years, which is the highest rating for CDC programs in our state.
