VBS: “Galactic Starveyors” is NEXT WEEK!

VBS is happening NEXT WEEK! Our theme for Vacation Bible School this year is “Galactic Starveyors – Discovering the God of the Universe”. VBS will happen from July 10th – 13th and is open to children in our church and the Jackson community from ages 4 through 5th grade. Parents and Kids — make sure to sign up today on our website, here in the mobile app, or in the Connection Center and invite a friend to join you! Register online and in the Connection Center before it’s too late!

Taste of Congo Fundraiser – July 15th @ 6:00pm

Motema Ministries, a non-profit started by WJ member Mulata Moba, will be hosting its 8th annual benefit dinner called “Taste of Congo”. The evening will feature an African dinner, fashion show, music, and Congolese items for sale. Tickets: $30 presale, $35 at the door, $15 kids ages 11-17 (kids 10 and under are free). Doors open at 5:30 pm. Tickets can be purchased in the Connection Center beginning June 25, or ordered by contacting Mulata Moba @ 731-402-0452/ [email protected]

Young Professionals Summer Schedule

Are you a twenty-something or recent college graduate? Our West Jackson Young Professionals Community Group will be meeting on most Sunday nights during the summer for Bible study and fellowship. For more info, check in with our Facebook Group (WJ Young Professionals) or e-mail Paul Helms and Tobey Griffin and grab our summer schedule (July – August) in the Connection Center this Sunday.

Summer Schedule: Combined Summer Worship @ 10:30am

Our church began meeting in one combined worship service for the summer in June. Each week, we will have Bible Study for all ages at 9:00am and one combined worship service at 10:30am. Make sure to mark your calendars and be praying for this great opportunity to come together as a church over the summer months. And invite a friend as we continue our summer sermon series!
